Here’s how
I looked Friday at the theatre show my mom staged, 3 sisters by Tchekhov. The
play was excellent, I couldn’t be more proud of her. Sooner in the afternoon I went
window shopping with Caro, going in all the luxurious boutiques with our homework
packed backpacks.
Voici à quoi je ressemblais vendredi lors de la pièce de théâtre
que ma mère à mise en scène, Les 3 sœurs de Tchekhov. Le spectacle était
excellent, j’étais vraiment fière d’elle. Avant, je suis allée faire du
lèche-vitrine avec Caro, on est entré dans tous les magasins luxueux avec nos
sacs pleins de devoirs.
I wore this
combi-short from Anthropologie with my cowboy boots and my hair braided to hide
their in-between length. I bought those boots thinking of Dolly Parton, her
guitars are often decorated with the same pattern as the embroideries. Call her tacky, I found her sweet and cute;
after all she sings about dogs and post the cutest blessings on Facebook. I
listen to her since I’m ten, and now I try to learn a few of her tunes on the guitar.
J’avais mis ce combi-short de chez Anthropologie avec mes
bottes de cowboys mes cheveux tressés pour camoufler ma frange que je laisse
pousser. J’ai acheté ces bottes chez Spring en pensant à Dolly Parton qui a plusieurs
guitares ornées de dessins similaires aux broderies des bottes. Trouvez-la
quétaine, moi je la trouve mignonne, après tout elle chante à propos de chiens
et publie des bénédictions sur Facebook. Je l’écoute depuis que j’ai dix ans et
je m’essaie maintenant à jouer ses chansons à la guitare.

my country and bohemian outfit, Caro was in her always all black edgy look,
