October It bag: NY edition

 This month it bag was firstly inspired by a bunch of things I got while I was in New York like this and the necklace,  the IRON-ONS, the sunglasses and the book Hello New York. I can’t wait to read it, it basically a tour of the city by the writer and illustrator of the book Julia Rothman. I’ll surely note a few address for my next trip. Besides, I followed a palette of gold, bronze, yellow and fuchsia. I think they form a lovely ensemble to go with the handbag, which is from my great-grandma.

Le it-bag de ce mois-ci se compose primordialement d’achats que j’ai faits quand j’étais à New York comme les lunettes, le collier, les IRON-Onset le livre Hello New York. J’ai vraiment hâte de le lire, c’est un tour de la ville donné par l’auteur et l’artiste du livre Julia Rothman. Je vais sûrement noter quelques adresses pour mon prochain voyage. Sinon, je me suis tenue à une palette or, bronze, jaune et fuchsia. Je trouve que tout cela forme un joli ensemble avec le sac à main, qui vient de mon arrière-grand-mère.

I quite debated posting this or not, because this series has kind of no point for you. But I decided to keep doing it because it’s hella fun going around and finding things to match together and all. So, take this series as a cute set of photos to enjoy without much to say.

Pour tout vous dire, je me sentais mitigé à propos de publier ce billet, puisqu’il n’a pas vraiment d’intérêt pour vous. Mais, j’ai décidé de continuer a le faire, car c’est un gros fun de chercher des objets qui matchent et les placer et tout. Donc, prenez ceci comme quelques photos mignonnes sans grand-chose à dire.

Weekend au chalet (à Charlo) photos + vlog!

À la fin de septembre, Caro et moi sommes parties un week-end au chalet de notre ami Charlo. C’était vraiment une fin de semaine réussite, il faisait chaud et les couleurs d’automne étaient superbes. On s’est arrêté à un monastère pour cueillir des pommes (et acheter du caramel délicieux), on a joué à des jeux de société (sans tricher!!) ,on s’est trempé les pieds dans le lacet a fait une balade en vélo pour admirer le coucher de soleil à la. Et cette fois, non seulement j’ai pris une tonne de photos, mais aussi des vidéos (avec l’aide de Caro) pour faire un petit vlog.

At the end of September, Caroline and I went to our friend Charlo’s cottage. It was a lovely weekend; it was so beautiful, because it was unusually warm but the autumn color where at their best. We picked apples (and bought caramel) at a monastery, played board games (without cheating!!!), dipped our feet in the lake and biked to the beach to see the sunset. This time, besides the billion pictures I took, I also filmed videos which I edited in this silly vlog.

NYFW 2014 jusqu'à maintenant / so far

Les collections prêt-à porter d’automne sont toujours des collections plus commerciales et manquent un peu d’originalité, et Susie Bubble a d’ailleurs fait le lien entre cela et le fait que cette semaine de la mode se passe à New York où le succès triomphe toujours.

The fall ready-to-wear collections are always more commercial collections and miss originality. Moreover, Susie Bubble made a link between that and the fact that this fashion week happens in New-York where everything is axed on success.

D’après les défilés que j’ai pu voir (en stalkant Style.com), la plupart des designers ont joué la carte des vêtements sport, du cuir et du noir. J’ai classé mes looks préférés en 2 palettes.

After the shows I saw (stalked on Style.com), most of the designers played the safe card of sportswear, leather and black. Here are my favorite looks in 2 color themes.
