After showing you my homemade gift ideas, here are some ideas on how to wrap them!

Use a kraft paper bag

Il y a plein de façons de personnaliser des sacs de papier kraft et ils sont en plus très pratiques quand on doit emballer un objet avec une forme spéciale, telle une tasse de café. Vous pourriez peindre dessus, coller des confettis ou ajouter une grosse boucle. Pour le mien, j’ai passé une ficelle autour et j’ai ajouté des billes à mon nœud.

There so many ways to customize those bags and they’re really practical if your object as a weird shape (like a coffee mug). You could paint on them, glue confetti or add a large bow on top. I tied mine with a black and white string and then added 2 candy pearls.

 Create a box out of wrapping paper

This tube wrapping is perfect for the smaller gifts. Choose a cylindrical object a tad larger than your present and use it as a guide to create a roll with the paper and then change it for your actual gift. Close the sides with washi tape in opposite directions, one horizontal, one vertical. And if you’re wondering for the holographic paper, it’s from Target.

Cet emballage « tube » est parfait pour les petits cadeaux. Choisissez un objet cylindrique un peu plus large que votre cadeau, puis utilisez-le comme base pour créer un tube avec le papier d’emballage. Après l’avoir échangé par votre cadeau, refermez les côtés avec du tape washi mais dans des directions opposées, un horizontal et un vertical. 

Amp up the transparent paper

Le papier transparent est parfait quand on a peu de temps ou aucune habileté en emballage-cadeau. J’ai de nouveau utilisé ma ficelle lignée ainsi qu’un grelot.

Transparent paper is the way to go if you have no time. It takes a few second to wrap everything and you can’t mess up! I once again use my black and white string as well as a jingle bell.

Now, the star of the show, my gift tags!

J’ai eu l’idée de faire des étiquettes pour que mes produits maison aient l’air plus professionnel. J’ai utilisé Google slide (équivalent de power point) car on peu bouger les formes très facilement. J’ai copié-collé quelques emojis trouvés sur Google image et j’ai trouvé une forme pour créer un contour. Pour le titre, j’ai utilisé la police Lobster

I got the ideas to make tags because I wanted my presents to look a bit more professional. I used Google slide (same as PowerPoint) because it’s easy to move the shapes around. I also copy-pasted a few emojis on each one and the result is super cute! For the name, I use the police lobster.
